While I was out shopping the other day I found Venus Fly Traps for sale. They have always been a source of fascination for me, and not only did I know that I just had to have one, I had also been trying to think of something fun to do with my empty terrarium.
The plant is smaller than I would have wished for, but maybe with some love and feeding it will grow to be quiet large! Hopefully not "Little Shop of Horrors" kind of large, but big enough to really fill out the terrarium.
Using moss and some eyeballs to finish the look, the overall feel of the terrarium is nice and spooky. It looks great on our dinning room table, which is also quiet handy, because if your Venus Fly Trap doesn't get food from bugs (which hopefully our home doesn't have many of), you need to give it a little meat from time to time.
Our Halloween decorating is almost complete. Do you decorate for Halloween?
OK - that is too darn cool! :) Can you make me one and bring it to NY! :)
